Cold seal packaging products are designed to instantly seal by the use of pressure, not heat, to create a strong lightweight package that will reduce movement during shipping or handling. Ivex cold seal packaging can be printed with logos, return addresses and sales messages. Corro-Seal™

A cohesive coated singleface corrugated product that provides excellent cushioning, surface and critical corner protection and has self-mailing capabilities.

Corro-Seal Features

  • Light, medium, heavy, extra heavy and reinforced paper combinations

  • B and E flute configurations available to fit all requirements

  • Patented Zip Strip for ease of opening

  • Printing available in up to 6 colors

Spot-Seal™

This cohesive coated self sealing, protective wrapping is available in either paper or polyethylene films. In transit, the wrap tends to fill in the voids around the product and locks it tightly in place inside the package.

Spot-Seal Features

  • Polyethylene film grades of low, linear low, medium and high density

  • Polyethylene film gauges from 1.2 mil to 8 mil

  • Locks in tightly around product

  • Any paper or film grade may be combined with any other paper, film or Corro-Seal grade

  • Printing available in up to 6 colors

  • All roll widths and lengths available

  • Perforating in both the machine and cross machine direction

VCI Rapit-Seal™

Ivex offers a Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor product that is used to package ferrous metals for protection against rust and corrosion. The VCI Rapit-Seal, polyfilm is a perfect way to protect products from the environment.

Ivex Protective Packaging manufactures various grades of Kraft and recycled papers, polymer sheet and film. These vertically integrated products are then converted into a wide variety of stock and customized packaging applications.

All IVEX cold seal products are constructed to run on a variety of automated packaging machines.
Single Web:
The product to be packaged is placed in the trough of the web and folded into the self-sealing material, cut and made ready for shipping.
Double Web:
The double web can be a vertical or horizontal application. On both of these systems, the product is placed between two self sealing materials. The individual package in then sealed on the side with the rollers and cut off and sealed on the ends with a flat bar and shear blade system.
